About 4 years ago I picked up snowboarding as a hobby. It was completely by chance, me and my girlfriend stopped by a sporting goods store looking for something for her and as an impulse buy I purchased a snowboard, boots, and bindings. Since then I've snowboarded 4 winters. I live in the Midwest so I can't claim to have conquered any mountains, but the hills and mounds that we do have around here have provided plenty of good times.
